IMII’s Annual General Meeting

We’re pleased to invite you to the International Minerals Innovation Institute’s (IMII) 2025 Annual General Meeting. This year’s AGM will feature a brief look back at our progress, a glimpse ahead at what’s to come — and a special guest speaker in celebration of Innovation Week.

🎤 Guest Speaker: Eric Anderson, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA), will share insights on “Innovation – the Suppliers’ Perspective.”  

Coming off the largest Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum in its 17-year history – with 383 trade show booths and more than 170 requests on a waiting list, Eric Anderson, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA) will share the suppliers’ perspective on innovation in the minerals industry.

Eric has been Executive Director of SIMSA since 2016 and will be sharing his thoughts on the ways the supply chain has and has not been engaged in innovation with and for the minerals industry. In a keynote twist, he hopes to engage the audience in answers to his questions.

With a strong background in team building and communication, Mr. Anderson brings a unique perspective to SIMSA’s leadership. Before joining SIMSA, he created and voiced the syndicated radio program Prosperity Saskatchewan, which produced over 1,500 episodes and 4,000 online news items, and inspired a lecture series at the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards School of Business. Relaunched in 2022 with support from Cameco, Nutrien, and the Government of Saskatchewan, the program continues to present accessible insights on the province’s resource sector at prosperitysaskatchewan.ca
